I came upon this site thanks to MckMama and love the T's. I am going to wait until after the baby is born to purchase any, but there are several I love already! Proceeds from purchases of the Unfolding T go to an organization called Until Journey's End, which provides help for families facing the hospitalization of their children for lengthy periods of time. very worthy of support! Today, I am thankful that Stellan is home, and although sad for a patient I met today, I am grateful that I have a chance to help him and his family.

Inspired by the likes of Anne I want to start articulating the things I am thankful for - I know there are MANY, and that I don't acknowledge most of them. So, for today:
1. my family, even my messy, fighting children
2. my own good health
3. my church
4. my two special friends who have ongoing healthy pregnancies right now, with due dates very similar to my own!

Hoping I continue this trend...

I've been reading MckMama's blog for some time now and her complete trust in God for Stellan (and the rest of her family for that matter) is very inspiring. I am SO thankful to have two healthy children (and another on the way) but if I did have a situation with one of them, I hope I would respond as she did.

My Valentine

Lizzie's Valentine box we made for her upcoming school party. And if you think it looks strangely shaped like a coffee can, well, you'd be right.

Lizzie's drawing of herself - a little verbal prompting from me (ie, don't you think you need feet? And maybe hair?) but the artwork is all her own! I didn't know her people could resemble actual people now!

I finally got around to finishing Lizzie's artwork showcase....

My late afternoon project for the day. I need a way to show off the kids 'artwork' instead of shoving it in the closet (or the trash - shhh!!!). Unfortunately I only got Ryan's room done, I ran out of the ribbon I wanted to use for Elizabeth so I will have to get some this week. This art in Ryan's room is all of his 'winter theme' from school - snow, snowman (bottom right, use your imagination!), mittens, candy cane, and gingerbread man.
